For sale is a 1963 Fender Duo-Sonic in fantastic condition! This vintage gem features a mahogany body. Combined with its short-scale design, this guitar is an absolute joy to play.
Specs & Condition:
- All original aside from a professionally replaced first fret and compensated saddles for improved intonation. (will be shipped with both)
- Rare to find Mahogany body
- Classic pre-CBS slab rosewood fretboard
- Stock single-coil pickups.
- Original pots, wiring, and tuners all in working order.
- The finish has beautiful vintage wear with natural checking but no breaks or major repairs.
- Includes an original vintage hard case. The handle is missing but other than that, the case is in great shape.
- Currently set up at 2mm on the 12th fret with 11-49 strings to compliment the short scale length. It feels similar to 10’s on a typical Fender scale length guitar.
- Weighs in at 6 lbs 12 oz.
- It appears to have the original nut, which has been shimmed to correct the low nut slots.
